Wize was established in 2011 by 5 young individuals with the dream of changing the nightlife culture and bringing content, curiosity, and knowledge to the wider audience, free of charge. Today, a decade later, Wize is one of the leading organizations in Israel in content-related domains, making science, technology, politics, culture, and many other topics accessible to over 550,000 Israelis through more than 2,000 lectures held in pubs and bars across Israeli cities, both in the center and the periphery.

Wize collaborates with top organizations in Israel, providing a platform for researchers, leaders, businesswomen, government officials, entrepreneurs, and intellectuals to make knowledge and information accessible, foster critical thinking, curiosity, and more.

Wize is a non-profit organization and operates under the Hachamim Balaila Association (registered association). The association operates in accordance with the rules of proper management and is recognized as a public institution in accordance with Section 46 of the Tax Ordinance.
